About the company
Evolver Fund II has in May 2026 partnered with Norteam AB, a fast-growing Swedish Microsoft Cloud specialist with a strong offering across Microsoft-based IT services. The partnership marks the establishment of a new Nordic platform within Microsoft Cloud, with the ambition to build a leading provider of Microsoft-based IT services for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Norteam was founded in 2017 by Göran and Martin Norström and has since developed into a strong Microsoft Cloud specialist with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Västerås. The company delivers services across Microsoft’s cloud portfolio, including Microsoft 365, Azure and Dynamics 365, and operates within specialist areas such as AI & Copilot, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 & Workplace, Azure & Infrastructure, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Data Analytics & Fabric.
The company has built a strong position through a customer-centric culture, high technical competence and a clear focus on helping SMEs modernize, secure and develop their IT environments. Norteam combines the depth and customer proximity of a specialist with the ambition to build the breadth and delivery capacity of a larger platform.
As part of the partnership, Martin Norström reinvests his entire holding in the new group and continues as Group CEO and significant owner. Together, Martin and Evolver share the ambition to further develop Norteam into a Nordic group of entrepreneur-led specialist companies with strong customer proximity, high technical competence and a shared ability to deliver business-critical Microsoft Cloud services.

Investment rationale
With Evolver’s backing, Norteam will pursue its ambition to build a leading Nordic Microsoft Cloud platform by combining strong organic growth, continued development of its specialist offering and selective add-on acquisitions of entrepreneur-led IT specialists.
The platform addresses long-term structural growth drivers such as cloud migration, increasing cybersecurity requirements, digitalization of workplaces, AI-driven efficiency gains and growing demand for specialist partners that can combine deep Microsoft expertise with business understanding and strong delivery capabilities.
Evolver sees an attractive opportunity to scale a customer-centric Microsoft specialist with a strong SME footprint, high customer satisfaction and a growing share of recurring revenues. The partnership will support Norteam in strengthening its sales engine, delivery model, operational structure and talent platform while preserving the entrepreneurial culture that has driven the company’s success.
Norteam will also pursue a customer-oriented acquisition strategy, where each acquisition is intended to strengthen the group’s technical expertise, broaden its delivery capacity and deepen its offering within the Microsoft ecosystem. The ambition is to create greater value for customers — not growth for growth’s sake.
“We see a significant opportunity to build a leading Nordic platform within Microsoft-based IT services. Norteam has demonstrated that it can grow with quality, customer proximity and commercial drive, and with Martin continuing as leader and significant owner, we see very strong conditions for accelerating the company’s development on a Nordic scale”, says Johan Porko, Partner at Evolver Equity.
